A year ago on June 25th THE SILENT WIFE, ASA Harrison’s debut psychological thriller was published in North America by Penguin Books US and Penguin Canada. The bittersweet launch came two months after Harrison died of cancer after working on her fiction in obscurity for the past decade.

What followed for THE SILENT WIFE in the next 12 months was nothing short of an international sensation. Here are the highlights:

  • Global sales of close to 700,000 copies sold copies sold worldwide so far
  • Last but not least, Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films and Mazur Kaplan have optioned the film rights to produce a feature film with Nicole Kidman to star as Jodi Brett. Billy Ray (of The Hunger Games and Captain Philips) is attached to write and direct.
