Ana Balmazovic is a Ryerson University journalism graduate. She interned for Transatlantic Agency early in 2011 during her final semester. Ana focused on magazine journalism and was awarded the Caren King Scholarship award for excellence in magazine; Ana was also appointed Chief Copy Editor of the Ryerson Review of Journalism in her last year at Ryerson. Since that time, Ana has been contributing to the agency on a freelance basis preparing catalogues and newsletters.
In 2014 Ana returned to Canada after living in London, England for a year. While in London Ana worked at Le Cordon Bleu, a world-renowned culinary arts school, as a customer service agent within their marketing department. She was responsible for bridging all departments and liaising with clients, guests and students. Shortly after joining the company, Ana was given the responsibility of ensuring all operations regarding Short Course classes ran smoothly; she did so by allocating duties to a team of four and overseeing procedures.
Since returning to Canada, Ana has contributed support on contract and royalty statement processing at Transatlantic Agency. In addition to office support, Ana assists the agents with various tasks relating to submissions, reader reports and social media, and continues to facilitate the production of catalogues and newsletters.
