Barb Miller has provided clerical, bookkeeping and production assistance within the publishing industry since 1998 and joined Transatlantic Agency in 2001. As office manager, Barb promotes technology if it enhances workflow, and systems that keep information at hand.
Her early career origins were in the accounts and policy administration departments of Mercantile and General Reinsurance after which she concentrated on raising her family. These experiences helped her develop a healthy respect about what a good database is fit for and also about what can’t be pigeon-holed. She is in awe of the capacity of authors and illustrators to understand instinctively the difference between these two.
