DEAL NEWS: Canadian rights to the sophomore novel from Andrea Gunraj, titled THE LOST SISTER – which explores topics of gender, race, and class dynamics through two parallel stories of child abuse, neglect, and abduction, and is partially inspired by real-life experiences of a former Nova Scotia Home for Coloured Children resident – have been sold to Whitney Moran at Vagrant Press by Stephanie Sinclair for publication in Fall 2019.
