Simon Boughton at Norton Young Readers has acquired Newbery Medal-winning author Tae Keller’s debut picture book, We Carry the Sun, to be illustrated by Asian/Pacific American Award-winning illustrator Rachel Wada, for publication in the summer of 2025. We Carry the Sun is a resplendent account of humankind’s relationship with our most precious resource: the sun. Faye Bender at The Book Group represented the author and Amy Tompkins at Transatlantic Agency represented the illustrator in a deal for world rights.
