Caroline Siede is a film, TV, and pop culture critic based in Chicago, where the cold never bothers her anyway. Her work regularly appears on The A.V. Club and The Verge, and she’s also written for Vox, Southwest, Consequence of Sound, Quartz and Boing Boing. She’s a graduate of Northwestern University, where she majored in Theater and History. Her ongoing column When Romance Met Comedy lovingly dissects the romantic comedy genre one film at a time. She also knows more about The Matrix, Dr. Who and the Marvel universe than you or I do. She is represented by Fiona Kenshole.
