FLYING TIME is the story of the unusual friendship between Kay Jeynes, a working-class Canadian woman, and Hero Miyashita, the only Japanese businessman in Calgary, set in the turbulent and racially-charged times of the Second World War.

Since 1993, the SBA has been celebrating Saskatchewan authors and publishers through 14 annual and semi-annual awards. The awards ceremony will take place on April 25 at the Conexus Art Centre in Regina.
