… Joanne Bischof, whose acclaimed historical romance novel, THE LADY AND THE LIONHEART, received yet another award — a CHRISTY, the highest honor in inspirational fiction.
The award was Presented by Karen Kingsbury at a gala in Nashville, Tennesee which also marked the 50th anniversary of the award’s namesake, the groundbreaking inspirational novel, Christy by Catherine Marshall.
Here’s what Romantic Times has to say in a rare 5-star review of this 2016 Inspirational Romance of the Year, and 2017 Christy Award winning historical romance:
“The sights, sounds and people of a turn-of-the-century circus come alive in this novel that captivates from word one. Every sentence is pitch perfect, while the characters embed themselves soul deep. Charlie Lionheart is the hero of heroes and a reflection of the fairy tale “Beast.” He is so brilliantly multidimensional that he could easily live outside the pages. The romance between Charlie and Ella is heartachingly beautiful, and the redemption organically sewn into the story’s tent flaps will linger with readers for years.”
Our warmest congratulations (again!) to Joanne.
