The shortlists for the Canadian Children’s Book Centre Awards are announced, and we are cheering at our desks!
Congratulations to Paul Harbridge whose picture book WHEN THE MOON COMES, illustrated by Matt James (Tundra) is shortlisted for the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award and the Martha Baillie Picture Book Award.
MEATLESS? A FRESH LOOK AT WHAT YOU EAT by Sarah Elton and illustrated by Julie McLaughlin (Owlkids Books) is shortlisted for the Norma Fleck Award for Canadian Children’s Non-Fiction.
THE AGONY OF BUN O’KEEFE by Heather Smith (Penguin Teen Canada) is shortlisted for both the Geoffrey Bilson Award for Historical Fiction for Young People and the Amy Mathers Teen Book Award. Kudos to both!
