Author and Google product designer Vicky Fang’s LAYLA AND THE BOTS was sold to Rachel Matson at Scholastic Branches. The four-book full-color early chapter book series, in which a rock star and her band of robots solve problems in their town through deductive reasoning will be illustrated by Christine Nishiyama. Agent Elizabeth Bennett represented the author. Publication of the first book is planned for 2020.
