David Turko is a screenwriter, producer, and former development executive. David has worked as both a story editor and a creative consultant on numerous feature films and series in development. As a development executive, David developed content for networks such as Netflix, Viacom, BBCA, Freeform, MGM, Bell Media, and CBC. David is an Associate Producer on Warrior Nun (Netflix). David is the Creator, Writer, and Executive Producer for FAKES (2022, 10 x 30min, Netflix/CBC) which received a two-season commitment from Netflix in a competitive situation. As a screenwriter, David has also set up two additional shows with major studios/streamers currently in development. David once broke his neck in an escape room. Yes, those puzzle games. No, he did not escape (his neck is fine now). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics which is less useful than you would expect.
