TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award-winning author Heather Smith’s picture book GRANNY LEFT ME A ROCKET SHIP, to be illustrated by Ashley Barron, has been sold to Yasemin Uçar at Kids Can Press for publication in 2023.
GRANNY LEFT ME A ROCKET SHIP a heartwarming, moving story about loss and remembering. Amy Tompkins represented the author in the deal for world rights, and the illustrator represented herself.
In addition, Korean rights to Heather’s YA Novel BARRY SQUIRES, FULL TILT have been acquired by Bluemoose Books. Maddie Hong at Danny Hong Agency brokered the deal on behalf of Amy Tompkins.
