Jessica Johns is a queer nehiyaw aunty with English-Irish ancestry and a member of Sucker Creek First Nation. Her novel, Bad Cree, was a Canada Reads finalist, and won the WGA Fiction Prize, Alex Award, and MacEwan Book of the Year Prize.
