Jay MillAr and Hazel Millar at Book*hug have acquired World English rights to acclaimed author Kathleen Winter’s TANGLEWYLD; A Mountain Polyphony, told in polyphonic, non-human voices of the mountain, which speaks poetically and urgently to our place in the world at this fragile collective moment; narrators include stones, trees, the wind, the stars, wild creatures, and smoke from forest fires. Publication is planned for 2027 and the deal was arranged by Carolyn Forde at Transatlantic Agency.
