Liz Kessick was born in Texas to an American mother and a British father but grew up in the country her parents could compromise on — Canada. During her undergraduate years, Liz won awards for her writing and also produced and edited a literary magazine. She went on to complete an MA in journalism from the University of Western Ontario but got distracted by her passion for coding and has spent most of her working life in technology. She’s lived in London, England, for 20+ years where she’s a well-known member of the tech community but has yet to drop her Canadian accent. In a full-circle moment, Liz’s day job is in the tech department of the Financial Times. Liz can be found in a flat overlooking the River Thames in southwest London with her English husband, daughter, and a pair of Maine Coon cats. When she’s not writing, she’s exploring London’s food scene, museums and historic sites.

Liz is represented by Samantha Haywood and Eva Oakes.

Welcome, Liz!
