Deliciest is a comic artist and illustrator based in Spain. As a kid, she devoured every comic book she could get her hands on, and European comics, Disney animated films, and 1990s anime have had a huge influence on her style. She studied illustration at the School of Art in Oviedo and has been working as a freelance artist ever since. Deliciest firmly believes that comics are a unique storytelling tool; they combine the lyricism of written narrative with the visual power of illustration, and they allow a single artist to create incredible worlds. She uses the pen name “Deliciest” because it evokes the feelings she wants to convey through her art: a cute and fun style that looks almost edible.
Deliciest is currently working on the ongoing webcomic Full Moon Panic!, which has already received over 73k views and 1.2k subscribers on Tapas (in addition to the readers she has on the FMP! website), been featured on Tapas Spotlight under the “New and Noteworthy” category and selected as a Tapas Staff Community Pick, and hit the top 10 most popular comics list on Tapas recently despite launching on the platform only three months ago.
