Elizabeth Philips at Thistledown Press has acquired two-time Governor General’s Award-winning author Caroline Pignat’s middle grade novel, The Discovery of Finnegan Wilde, for publication in the fall of 2025. Set in 1913 in Ireland, The Discovery of Finnegan Wilde follows the adventures of Eddie Moore, a young archeology student, and Finnegan Wilde, a girl living on the streets of Dublin, who set out to solve a mystery related to a medieval book found in a peat bog and a symbol that appears both on the book and on Fin’s arm. Amy Tompkins at Transatlantic Agency brokered the deal for English rights in North America.
