Having joined as Associate Agent in early 2018, Léonicka has grown an impressive client list including Yejide Kilanko, bestselling author of Daughters Who Walk This Path; Sonnet L’Abbé, award-winning poet and author of Sonnet’s Shakespeare; Hadiya Roderique, writer, speaker, and EDI researcher and Kai Cheng Thom, award-winning author of Fierce Femmes and Notorious Liars: A Dangerous Trans Girl’s Confabulous Memoir. Before joining Transatlantic, Léonicka was with Penguin Random House Canada, Scholastic Book Fairs Canada and HarperCollins Canada. Valcius was also the Chair of the Board of the FOLD Foundation, which organizes the Festival of Literary Diversity in Brampton, Ontario.
