Transatlantic is elated to announce that acclaimed feminist Canadian author and Member of the Order of Canada Susan Swan’s memoir, TOO BIG, has been acquired by Jennifer Lambert at HarperCollins Canada, for publication Spring 2025!
TOO BIG explores the way Susan Swan’s unusual height shaped her life, and the quest she undertook, as a writer, a mother, a daughter, to take up space, always a no-no for women, and find a home that fit.
Susan Swan’s critically acclaimed fiction has been published in twenty countries. Currently, she is working on her memoir, Too Big, and working on a sequel to her short story collection, Stupid Boys Are Good to Relax With. She is the co-founder of the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction, a new literary prize for women and non-binary writers in North America.
Deal arranged by Samantha Haywood (World English).
Congratulations!
