Adele K. Thomas is an illustrator, director, art director, producer and lecturer, with 20 years of experience in animation film and TV design, children’s books, apps, education & brand advertising including mascots. Her experience in animation film and TV design allows Adele to bring a lively personality and movement to a book’s characters, expressive faces and a versatility in style & colour application.
Adele previously worked on Do Not Watch This Show for LeeBones Productions as a character & prop designer, and recently finished two seasons on Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur at Flying Bark Productions. She is currently illustrating children’s books for Scholastic and Harper Collins Australia, and previously illustrated titles for Hardie Grant and Penguin.
In recent years Adele has worked as an executive producer for the Childish Deano web series and co-directed the 2017 animation feature film, Shopkins Wild, and was senior art director for both Shopkins Wild and Shopkins World Vacation.
