World Rights to Five Roses, the newest novel from Alice Zorn (Arrhythmia (NeWest, 2011) and Ruins & Relics (NeWest, 2009)), have been sold to Shannon Whibbs at Dundurn Press for publication in 2016. Five Roses takes place in Montreal, and explores the lives of three women, each of whom has suffered a loss in her life. Their lives are intertwined in a variety of overt and tangential ways, unbeknownst to any of them. It is a brilliant testament to the power of love and forgiveness, by one of Canada’s rising literary talents. The deal was arranged by Transatlantic’s Shaun Bradley.
