Penguin Random House Canada has acquired North American English rights to The Only Café, the next novel from Scotiabank Giller Prize-winning author Linden MacIntyre. The Only Café explores a son’s search for the truth about his father’s disappearance five years after he went missing. It leads him from contemporary Toronto to the Middle East, to the war on terror, and to the massacre at the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps. Publication is scheduled for August, 2017. The deal was done by Shaun Bradley 
of the Transatlantic Agency, with Anne Collins. The book will appear under the Random House Canada imprint.
