Liz Bicknell at Candlewick has acquired world rights to Rachel Poliquin’s picture book THIS IS ORANGE, a guide to the color orange that takes readers through the color’s background in unique social, historical, and artistic contexts, encouraging readers to see the world around them in unusual ways. The book will be illustrated by Julie Morstad, and is scheduled for publication in the fall of 2025. Amy Tompkins represented Rachel, and Emily van Beek at Folio Literary Management represented the illustrator.
