Award-winning author Ted Staunton’s latest middle grade novel, Comic Shift, was acquired by Anne Shone while she was at Scholastic Canada with Erin Haggett editing. In Comic Shift, an aspiring comic book artist’s life gets more interesting when he meets a shapeshifter at a comics convention. The deal was for English and French rights in North America, and publication will take place in the summer of 2025. Amy Tompkins represented the author.
