Charla Ayers is a multi-faceted creative who blends her passion for writing, editing, and visual storytelling. With a Master of Arts in Publishing and a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Publications, she brings academic intrigue, a background in photography, and a passion for crafting stories about the intricacies of interpersonal relationships. As a college writing instructor and emerging editor, Charla channels her diverse skill set into nurturing other writers’ voices while establishing her own. She lives in Georgia with her husband and two sons, where she is likely listening to music and being inspired by nature and poetry. SHRIKE, a blend of dark academia and romantic fantasy, is her debut novel.
