Trudi studied commerce with a minor in law at Carleton University and completed a certificate in publishing from the Chang School at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2026. Since joining Transatlantic as a literary assistant in December of 2024, she has worked closely with Carolyn Forde and Marilyn Biderman, both Partners and Senior Agents, supporting an extensive roster of authors and helping champion exceptional new voices across genres.
As Assistant Agent, Trudi will have the opportunity to selectively co-represent authors alongside Carolyn and Marilyn. Trudi‘s favourite reads of all time include: The Knight and the Moth, Six of Crows, and Yellowface. Outside of publishing, you’ll find Trudi playing league volleyball, teaching fitness classes, and cuddling with her fur babies, Beau, Baloo and Barry.
