Transatlantic is delighted to welcome Ashima Ishrat and Brendan Holk – our two new interns from TMU!
Ashima Ishrat is currently a student in the Master of Arts Program at Toronto Metropolitan University in Literatures of Modernity. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has worked as a graduate teaching assistant and a freelance writer. Ashima is an avid reader and an occasional writer living in Toronto, and looking forward to gaining experience about agenting.
Brendan Holk completed his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature with a Minor in Philosophy at Brock University and is now a Master of Arts student in Literatures of Modernity at the Toronto Metropolitan University. He has experience as a teaching assistant and copy editor, and has worked on the White Wall Review as the editor of the Fiction Committee.
