Transatlantic Agency is delighted to welcome Mikaela Lucido, represented by Transatlantic agent Rachel Letofsky. We’re excited to support their work and be part of this next stage in their creative journey.
Mikaela Lucido is a Filipina-Canadian storyteller. Her debut middle-grade novel, Danica dela Torre, Certified Sleuth, was published in September 2024 by Annick Press. It is the first of The Unofficial Official Renley Crow Detective Club series. Her words have been featured in Ricepaper Magazine, Cambio & Co., Living Hyphen, and Augur Magazine. She studied Creative Writing & Publishing at Sheridan College and was the 2021 recipient of the Ampersand Award. Mikaela was raised and lives in Mississauga, on the Treaty and Traditional Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and The Huron-Wendat and Wyandot Nations.
