We’re thrilled to announce Blink49 has pre-empted the rights to Death on the Island, the debut novel by Eliza Reid, former First Lady of Iceland – with Lynne Kamm set to write and Icelandic co-producer Truenorth on board!
This is the first project that Transatlantic Agency will be co-producing through their joint venture with Blink49 Studios, a FIFTH SEASON backed company.
The series is a twist-filled diplomatic mystery set against the stark beauty of Iceland, where secrets, betrayal, and murder ripple through the world of international politics and one woman’s personal reckoning.
Executive producers include Eliza Reid, Samantha Haywood and Laura Cameron (Transatlantic), Carolyn Newman and Virginia Rankin (Blink49) Kristinn Thordarson and Leifur B. Dagfinnsson (Truenorth), and Lynne Kamm.
