Transatlantic Agency is delighted to welcome Star Spider, represented by Transatlantic agent Rachel Letofsky. We’re excited to support their work and be part of this next stage in their creative journey.
Star Spider is a writer, researcher, and philosopher drawn to the deep questions: who we are, what we believe, and how we find our way back to each other. With an undergraduate degree in philosophy and psychology, Star brings academic insight and lived experience to everything she writes.
She is the author of two fiction novels and numerous published short stories. Her current project, What is Lost? Vital Questions about Cults, Connection, and Control is a nonfiction book that blends memoir, philosophical reflection, and cultural critique with a focus on radical hope. The book traces Star’s journey through and beyond a cult, asking what is truly lost in controlling groups and the wider society that often fails to offer belonging, purpose, and connection.
Star is also the founder of Counter, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting those affected by psychological manipulation and coercive control. Through Counter, she offers free educational toolkits, peer support, and counselling to individuals and communities searching for recovery, resilience, and new ways forward.
Welcome, Star!
