
Transatlantic Agency is delighted to welcome Jeanette Lynes!
Jeanette Lynes is the author of four novels and seven poetry collections. Her fourth novel, The Paper Birds (HarperCollins Canada) won the Fiction Award at the 2026 Saskatchewan Book Awards. Her third novel, The Apothecary’s Garden (HarperCollins Canada, 2022) was a finalist for a High Plains Book Award and three Saskatchewan Book Awards. Jeanette’s second novel, The Small Things that End the World (Coteau Books) received the Fiction Award at the 2019 Saskatchewan Book Awards. The Factory Voice (Coteau Books), her first novel, was longlisted for The Giller Prize and a ReLit Award in 2009. Apron Apocalypse: Lyric Essays is forthcoming from Thistledown Press in fall, 2026; it received the John V. Hicks Long Manuscript Award for non-fiction in 2023. Since 2011, Jeanette has directed the MFA in Writing at the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently at work on her fifth novel and a book on research in creative writing.
