Congratulations to Tara Gereaux’s WILD PEOPLE QUIET, shortlisted for the Giller Prize!
“The books selected by this year’s jury are incandescent. They glow with stubborn light; the quietest voices rise loudest, and on every page, these stories insist on their own future. These five books represent Canadian fiction – daring, original, textured and thought-provoking – at its finest.” – Elana Rabinovitch, Executive Director, Giller Prize
The ceremony to honour the finalists and announce a winner will be held on Monday, November 16, 2026.
The Giller Prize awards $100,000 annually to the author of the best Canadian novel, graphic novel or short story collection published in English.
Tara Gereaux is represented by Samantha Haywood.
Congratulations, Tara!
