Sarah Hoenicke Flores (they/she) is a queer California writer with master’s degrees in journalism from UC Berkeley and comparative literature from UC Irvine. Sarah’s work can be found in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Guernica and Literary Hub, as well as in many other outlets. Previously, they have been a fellow with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and a Fulbright Scholar. By day, Sarah works as an undergraduate writing instructor and literary researcher. When not working, they exercise their all-night nursing superpower, run, stare at birds, say hello to trees, and draw obsessively.

Sarah is represented by Jo Ramsay and Amanda Orozco.
