Erin Alladin is an editor, passionate outdoor educator, and the author of the science-meets-mindfulness picture book Outside, You Notice. Writing under both her own name and the pen name Victoria Allenby, Erin’s forthcoming books include Wait Like a Seed (April 29, 2025, Pajama Press) and Red Canoe Shows Up at Two (June 3, 2025, Pajama Press). Born in rural Northern Ontario, Erin survived nine years in the metropolis of Toronto by founding the Garden@Kimbourne Community Permaculture Project, a communal garden where she discovered her love of teaching others about growing things. She later started Earth Undaunted, a blog and TikTok account focused on sustainable gardening practices. When a connective-tissue disorder began to affect her ability to work outside, Erin shared her story of adapting her gardening practices and discovered that thousands of others were eager to hear it. Erin is also the co-host of the podcast Plants Always Win (plantsalwayswin.com), where she explores the intersection of plants, nature, and resilience. Today, she lives north of Parry Sound, Ontario, with her wife, an ever-growing garden, and too few bookshelves.
