
Professor of literature at the Royal Military College of Canada and Books in Canada poetry award-winner Chantel Lavoie’s THE BOY IN THE CHIMNEY, the author’s debut novel, described as the story of four young chimney sweeps in late-18th-century London, and a real-life Swiss watchmaker and inventor whose fabulous exhibitions of wealth and privilege entice the boys to commit a daring and foolhardy heist, sold to Elizabeth Philips at Thistledown Press (Canada English). Publication is expected for Spring 2027.
