Sarah Howden at Orca Book Publishers has acquired Pride Puppy Countdown, by Pride Puppy author and illustrator team Robin Stevenson and Julie McLaughlin. Pride Puppy Countdown is a number concept picture book that follows a child and her puppy as they travel from their apartment building’s rooftop garden to each of the floors on their way to the lobby, then out into a pride parade on the street out front. The book is scheduled for publication in spring 2027; Amy Tompkins at Transatlantic Agency handled the deal for world rights on behalf of the author.
