
Katharine Tyndall (she/her) grew up on a farm in the US and has lived in Germany for the past decade, where she works in the environmental field. Her writing has been published in ECO24: Year’s Best Speculative Ecofiction, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Nightmare Magazine, and many more. She is a 2025 finalist for the Grist Imagine 2200 Climate Fiction Prize and the 2024 winner of the Berlin Sci-Fi Film Fest in the short story category. At present, she is working on a novel at the Granta Writer’s Workshop. She lives in Berlin with her partner and their forest of houseplants.
