Buzzard is a near-future dystopian that follows one of the last Midwives in the former United States with the necessary training and experience to perform safe abortions. Which she continues to do for her community long after it has become a federal crime. When she is busted and sent to prison, she discovers a pattern of human rights violations and is forced to decide if she will keep her head down in the hope of one day getting her freedom and being reunited with her sons, or leveraging her medical training in order to advocate for the victims no one else even know exist.
