The Transatlantic Agency announced today that Lakota Rich will be joining the company as Associate Agent and Assistant to Samantha Haywood, replacing Kate Moody, who has moved into her new role as Associate Literary Agent and Associate Speakers’ Agent.
“Lakota’s experience in the book-to-film business as well as her serious grounding in publishing are among her many wonderful qualities,” said Samantha Haywood, President at the Transatlantic Agency. “I very much look forward to working with her.”
Lakota worked for over five years at the book-to-film scouting firm Conner Literary, and holds a Master of Publishing degree from Simon Fraser University, an Honors BA in Book and Media, Semiotics and Communication, as well as Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto.
