Genoveva Dimova is a fantasy author and a fan of all things speculative. She grew up near the rocky shores of the Black Sea in Varna, Bulgaria. Her love for dramatic landscapes took her to Scotland, where she now works as an archaeologist. She vehemently believes in writing what you know, so her work often features Balkan folklore, the immigrant experience, and main characters who get in incredible messes out of pure stubbornness. She currently lives in Glasgow with her partner and as many plants as she can fit in her tiny apartment.
