Anna Roberto at Feiwel and Friends has bought at auction world rights to Annie’s Cat Is Sad by Heather Smith, illustrated by Karen Obuhanych, about a girl and her cat as they navigate the difficulties of feeling sad after having a bad day. Publication is planned for spring 2022; Amy Tompkins at Transatlantic Agency represented the author, and Anne Moore Armstrong at the Bright Agency represented the illustrator.
