BEAVERS: A SUPERHERO GUIDE by Rachel Poliquin, and three other books in the middle grade SUPERHERO FIELD GUIDES TO THE ANIMAL KINGDOM series to Kate O’Sullivan at Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt Books for Young Readers, to be illustrated by Nicholas Frith in a deal for World Rights. The first book will publish in fall 2018. A series of humorously informative natural history books that unveil the superhero within all manner of dumpy beasts, snubbed fishes and ridiculed birds such as aardvarks, armadillos, beavers, moles, eels, ostriches, sloths, hedgehogs, and wombats. Amy Tompkins at Transatlantic Agency arranged the deal.
